After a long period spent enthusiastically interpreting songs from rock, pop, 80s, independent, country, Americana, blues, some jazz and finally metal - I came back to the original drive for my music making: songwriting ! And lo and behold ! Courage, self-confidence and some diligence paid off !
My album is just that: me. It’s just me singing my own songs, my own way. The songs on my CD ROUGH DIAMONDS are a reflection of me - each one showing another facet; some are written from the perspective of the German songwriter in me and others from the English one.

The album "ROUGH DIAMONDS" contains only my own songs. I recorded and sang it myself and it has become very authentic. The song material with English and German lyrics does not fit into any pigeonhole and no title is like the other.
It was time to dare this experiment and it was the right decision.
